It's hard to even imagine that sentiment in 2011 as every sportswriter and radio host goes slackjawed and puck drunk every time they talk about #13.
At this point, has Datsyuk become overrated? Is he hockey's U2? Not a chance. Datsyuk deserves all the praise you can muster.
Take a gander at this overwrought, overdramatic but undeniably amazing video of Pavel Datsuyk highlights. The goal right at the end against the Preds should make everyone want to quit playing hockey. It actually ruined my night when I saw this. Going to call in sick to work tomorrow because, really, what's the point of getting out of bed anymore after this?
