This is probably the shallowest reason for a post, especially since the source is Eklund, but he is reporting that the Sens and Leafs are competing to sign Curtis Joseph with the Sens having a slight edge. But this scenario seems unlikely in the Sens case. I don't think Ray Emery is going anywhere despite the media and the fan base ready to run him out of town.
He's simply too good, despite some of the overblown hype around his personality.
