So this weekend we finally saw what the Carolina Hurricanes and the Minnesota Wild managed to design for the new jersey prototypes and needless to say, no one was blown away by any radical changes to either. The Wild did move to a red sweater for their home games which is a nice improvement but decided to retain their road whites with the forest green. The Canes simply added some white tubing onto the shoulders of an otherwise consistently ugly jersey (what's with those Lego blocks anyways).
To be honest, there's not much more to look forward to concerning unveiling's. The teams seemed to have drawn this whole thing out too long. Training camps are starting this week and only 17 teams have displayed their sweaters although they will all be shown within the next seven days with the Leafs next up on the ticker.
